From the estate of a local engineer who had many clocks and "technical tools" and scientific instruments. Physical: The telescope is 40" long. The eyepiece at the end (left) is 1.5" in diameter; the scope end (above) is 2.5" in diameter. It stands approximately 64" with legs fully extended. The telescope lifts off the tripod of oak or perhaps hickory. Comments: This exact same telescope sold on eBay on March 14 for this same price PLUS a whopping 22% hammer fee, for a grand total of $549.
