Available Again. . . The “ bible ” Of Mechanical Music

Please tell
Mr. Roenigk we referred you. No kickbacks, but it's always nice to know the origin of referrals.

The Q. David Bowers "Encyclopedia of Automatic Musical Instruments is again available from Martin Roenigk. This enormous reference book is the "bible" for mechanical musical collectors. It is 1,008 pages long, hardcover, and most pages have multiple photos (of good quality).

The book has lengthy chapters on Cylinder Music Boxes, Disc Music Boxes, Player Pianos, Reproducing Pianos, Coin-Operated Pianos - Orchestrions, Organettes - Player Organs, and Fairground Organs, as well as a Dictionary of Automatic Musical Instrument Terms and a Bibliography. This fabulous book has been out of print for quite some time, and probably will not be reprinted for a number of years.

In order to encourage and financially support the reprinting of this critical reference book, Mr. Roenigk pre-purchased 500 copies, allowing him to offer the lowest pricing on the book anywhere.
